The 2021 growing season produced small yet intensely flavorful berries, thanks to a lighter crop load and the second year of Napa Valley’s dry conditions. While the season brought lower yields, it allowed the vines to focus their energy on fewer grapes, resulting in a wine of exceptional concentration and depth. This vintage is a true reflection of nature’s ability to create something extraordinary under challenging conditions.
This vintage showcases a deep, ripe character, with aromas of dark chocolate-dipped berries and a hint of mocha. On the palate, it’s a bold and powerful wine, yet elegantly balanced. Rich flavors of blackberry pie, dark plum, and concentrated fruit compote are complemented by lush, textured tannins that lead to a long, silky finish. From the Winemaker
This Cabernet focused blend comes from the eastern slopes of Napa Valley giving it a unique expression that is quite different from our estate wines. Aromas are deep and ripe, reminding me of dark chocolate dipped berries and a touch of mocha. A big, bold wine across the palate, powerful yet elegant. Blackberry pie, dark plums, concentrated fruit compote, and lush textural tannins coat the mouth with its silky balanced and long delcious finish. Really a beautfy. Enjoy!
