Desiree Walz

Desiree Walz is the National Sales Director for Fantesca Estate & Winery, bringing a wealth of experience in fine wine sales, distribution, and hospitality. Prior to joining Fantesca, she served as Head of Sales for Surely Wines and was the Central Regional Manager for Miner Family Winery. Her background also includes roles in importing, distribution, and a key buying position with Hillstone Restaurant Group.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Desiree is passionate about wine education and relationship-building. She thrives on sharing the nuances of wine with others and is a master networker who loves connecting with people and creating memorable experiences around wine.

Outside of work, Desiree enjoys cooking with her husband, hosting gatherings, and exploring new restaurants—especially Thai cuisine. She grew up in a small ski resort town in New Mexico, where she was on the downhill ski team as a child. Her love for the outdoors continues today—she finds joy in hiking, skiing, and spending time in the mountains with her family.
