Our 2022 vintage of Russian River Chardonnay is a stunning expression of Sonoma’s finest. The season began with ideal conditions, though late-summer heat accelerated ripening. Fortunately, cool coastal nights preserved the fruit’s balance, resulting in a beautifully concentrated Chardonnay.
This light straw-colored wine offers enticing aromas of pear, green apple, peach pie, and a touch of toasty French oak. On the palate, it’s mouthcoating and luscious, with flavors that mirror the nose. Crafted in a Chablis style, without malolactic fermentation, it showcases vibrant fruit and crisp acidity, making for a refined, long-lasting finish.

From the Winemaker
Our 2022 Chardonnay comes from several vineyards in the Russian River area of Sonoma County. We use seveal different clones which layer nicely in this beautiful Chardonnay. The color is a brilliant light straw with aromas of pears, green apple, peach pie citrus and a nice touch of toasty French Oak. Nice purity of aromatics and flavors here. The palate is mouthcoating and shows expressive flavors that match the aromas. This is a Chablis-style Chardonnay with no malo-lactic and it focuses on ripe, lush fruit and a perfect acidity to enjoy with many dining delights. Will continue to develop a bit more with time.
